Usborne Sound Books: Night & Garden Sounds
Main idea: Night Sounds and Garden Sounds — beautiful natural sounds the kids loved so much that we changed the batteries several times.
From the Usborne Sound Books series we have two volumes at home — Night Sounds and Garden Sounds (both Sam Taplin / Federica Iossa). We keep Night Sounds in English: owl, kitten, bat, train, church… and that circular speaker on the cover. At our house it’s a favourite evening sound book — calmer than the daytime ones, and the kids soak up English from listening.
The kids loved Garden Sounds so much that we changed the batteries several times. Beautiful natural garden sounds, well chosen — and for us it’s worth the higher price.

A little more about the book
In Night Sounds, sound buttons bring purring cats, hooting owls and squeaking bats to life. Peep-through holes and finger trails add tactile exploration; Usborne recommends it from age three.
