Nekonečný příběh (The Neverending Story) by Michael Ende (Albatros, 2025) tells of Bastian, a shy boy laughed at by his classmates. Through the pages of a strange book he enters Fantastica and, together with the boy Atreyu, lives through many adventures on the Great Quest. More than once he is in danger; he becomes a hero and grows wiser — and in the end he returns where he belongs: among people.
