Me and My Family (Březinová)

Main idea: Short stories about animal young and their families — fear, care and belonging, plus a real wildlife film.

An older series, Já a moje rodina (Me and My Family) by Ivona Březinová: Little Chimp, Polar Bear Cub, Baby Elephant and Lion Cub. Each book is a short story about one animal baby and its family – about fear, first steps and how a family helps each other.

Each book comes with a disc featuring a fifteen-minute wildlife film (from the Czech TV series of the same name) and an educational section. We read the story, then watch how these babies really live.
